Welcome to the Outpost X experience!

As you embark to the end of worlds, let’s talk expectations. We aren’t the place for perfect comfort or exquisite luxury. We’re more of a post apocalyptic sanctuary where the world has ended and we’ve started over. Our aim is reignite the imagination, to reconnect with your inner child, to re learn how to play, away from the BS of society. As you embark on this journey, we invite you to reflect: what did this experience reveal about yourself? How has it contributed to resetting your mind, body, and spirit? Most important of all, remember, sometimes just sitting and doing nothing is exactly what you need because most the things we think we need in our daily lives, we just… don’t. 

We eagerly anticipate your arrival and will be in touch closer to your check-in date with all the necessary details to ensure a seamless arrival and an unforgettable stay.



  • What is the Check In / Out times?

    Check-In: 3:00 PM MST

    Check-Out: 10:00 AM MST

    Early checkin and late checkout are available upon request dependent on previous guests and our housekeeping staffs schedule


  • What is the WiFi Password?

    OutpostX1

  • What does parking look like?

    Park your vehicle in the designated open space in front of the common area and caves. Guests staying in Zen Domes have their assigned parking directly in front of dome.

  • How are the units numbered?

    Caves will be labeled in front of their unit with signage. Domes are numbered 1 through 4 with 1 being closest to the entry and 4 being the farthest! 

  • Where are the Restrooms?

    Aside from the personal bathroom located in the domes and caves, the shared bathroom is located second door from the stairs is the shared bathroom for all guests to use. Feel free to shower, use the restroom or wash your hands.

  • What is the Cantina?

    Bring your own beverage setup! mixers available with good views :)

  • What does the Game Room include?

    Board games are available along with books and a PS4.

  • Do I need to bring my own silverware?

    Domes and Caves have basic cooking utensils, cups, plates, and silverware. 


    Please clean and dry all dishes!

    Cold Months

    Night time: Set the heater to 5, mini split to 80 degrees, and turn on hallway fans.

    Leave the bathroom door open.

    Set heat blankets to 2-4 for ideal warmth.

    If the heater is off, push the dial down on the pilot for 30 seconds, push the red button ten times, and listen for ignition. Once ignited, keep the dial pushed down and turn it to 1-5. 

    If it is still off, message 210-686-1984 for assistance.

    Daytime: Set heater to 2 and mini split to 68 during the day.

    Warm months

    Night Time: Set heater to 4 and mini split to 65.

    Day Time: Set heater to pilot and mini split to 80. The dome will be over 80 in the

    afternoon from Namaajin's three suns but will cool at night.

    Pull dome curtains in the morning.

    For power outages, message 210-686-1984 

    Please note that power switches off every night briefly for 5-10min as it switches from solar power to propane. When the power goes off, please wait 10 minutes for it to reset.


Directions

  • To reach Outpost X, follow these steps:
  • Note: While looking at a Google Map, you’ll notice “Mud Lake,” which is incorporated on the property and is literally the main playa bed at Outpost X.
  1. At the Beryl Junction, take Highway 18 (also known as Beryl Highway) about 9 miles north until you reach E 7200 N.
  2. Turn right onto E 7200 N dirt road. You will see an X on your right-hand side
  3. Drive East on E 7200 N for approximately 3 miles. You will see a second X on your left-hand side and a gravel road facing north.
  4. Continue straight until you arrive at Outpost X. 
  5. You'll see a wooden structure over the roadway; Outpost X will be on your left side.

Speeder Tour

To use a Sand Cruiser, fill out the form by scanning the QR code on the speeder. Once the check-in form is completed, you will receive a code to the lockbox, where you can access the key. Unplug the speeder before use. The speeder's battery lasts 30 minutes before running low. When returning the speeder, remove the key and place it back in the lockbox, then plug back in the charger for the next guest.

Spa area

The spa is at the end of the walkway next to the common area. You will see a 20-foot rock wall that serves as a wind block. The spa features 2 hot tubs, 1 cold plunge, and a wood-fired sauna.

How to use the Sauna: In the box next to to the sauna fire starters, lighters, flint and steel, a butane torch, and wood pellets. Use the hand shovel to scoop wood pellets into the square door. Then, light with the butane torch lighter.


  Culinary Experience

  • If you've opted for a culinary pass, your ingredients will be stocked in the fridge. Additional meal packages, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, can be purchased at any time before or during your stay. To arrange for the inclusion of your Culinary Meal Plan, please feel free to email us at info@chamberstays.com and let us know how many per day per guest. Alternatively, if you happen to overlook this step, rest assured that we will send you a link four days prior to your check-in, facilitating a seamless addition to your reservation.



  • All units feature a fully equipped kitchenette. Please note that you'll be responsible for handling and preparing your food, including items included in the culinary pass. While our menu is limited and does not cater to specific dietary restrictions or children's meals, we offer gluten-free options. Alcoholic beverages are not available for purchase but are permitted on the premises. The nearest grocery store is 25 minutes away in the town of Enterprise, there’s a gas station 10 minutes away at Beryl Junction.
